Mostly contemporary American and Canadian poetry, with a particular focus on Asian American poets and first books of poetry. I've also been building a collection of books related to poetry translation (especially translation of Chinese texts)
About Me
I'm the author of "The Lost Country of Sight" which won the 2007 Philip Levine Prize and was published in 2008 by Anhinga Press. At one point in time I was also a computer games programmer -- but I repented of that and pursued an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of California-Riverside instead. I'm currently working on a PhD in Literature & Creative Writing at USC. In my spare time, I edit and manage Boxcar Poetry Review (
