About meI'm a corporate librarian with some background in the used/rare book trade, special collections librarianship, and eighteenth- and nineteenth-century literature. I was seduced by the corporate world a decade ago in order to finance my book addiction, but I miss the smell of softly-aging paper while I plug away at electronic databases.

My family and I live in New England with two very mischievous dogs. When I'm not reading, I'm usually watching movies; I love films almost as much as I love books...almost.

Recently finished:
Throne of Glass - Sarah J. Maas
Charlesgate Confidential - Scott Von Doviak
Excellent Intentions - Richard Hull

About my libraryThe books listed are only what I have on the shelves (or the tables, nightstands, floors, and other flat surfaces). My husband and I finally finished the traumatic experience of weeding half our collection, although we were delighted at the reason for doing so (a little bookworm was added to the family). I am slowly adding books to the "read but unowned" category -- items I read and either sold to make way for baby, or that I had from the library and never owned.
