About meOh so much to tell! I have so many interests that they are hard to list.
I came to Lee University in 1996 as a faculty member from West Palm Beach (Palm Beach Atlantic University). I have been teaching Web Design, Multimedia Technology, Educational Technology, Flash Design and CIS courses since I arrived.
I lived in Ukraine for a half year and it happened to be during the Ukrainian Orange Revolution (2004/2005)
The experience of living in Ukraine during the Orange Revolution is one that will never be forgotten. Especially not by the foreigners that were living there at the time. Here are some URLs that give an image of what happened:

I am presently working on my PhD in the field of Instructional Technology, hopefully to finish and graduate in the Spring of 2008. IT is the field where the studies pertain to using technology for educational purposes.
I have been married for 26 years; have a son that is 14 and a little girl, born the year 2000, we adopted her from China.
Last but not least, I love the Russian language and the Ukrainian people. My traveling has been to China, Russia, Ukraine, Amsterdam, Germany and England. So far, Ukraine is my favorite after visiting it seven years.
As a matter of fact, I love it so much that I moved to Ukraine for a full semester.

About my libraryMy masters degree was in Information Science and I have had offices located in the library of the universities where I worked for the past 20+ years. So, as may seem obvious, I love books. However, my type of reading materials seems to fall under academics of some sort. I like to learn, so the types of books I read are those I can gain applicable knowledge from as I go.

Based on the few titles found on the front end of my "library" here, my areas are presently on how people learn and the topic of language learning. My interests are more broad than that, but the collection is small at this point
