About meI'm a writer and am working on a book for a major publishing house. I like fiction (both literary stuff and well-crafted genre fic), non-fiction, newspapers, magazines and the occasional graphic novel (I loved Fun House).

My BA is in journalism and I have cats. God, this is dull. I like all the usual crap -- movies, roadtrips, etc. I'm a trivia geek and a lefty (politics-wise). I live in Toledo, OH, and hope to move as soon as my book is published and I get the second half of my advance. Toledo sucks balls.

About my libraryI have 500 books or so, in a wide range of genres. Some are contmporary, some classic. I buy most of my books from and from my local used book store. When I have a book I like, I keep it (I like to re-read books). If I don't like a book, I swap it at the used book store for credit.

I spend a lot of time at Borders, drinking coffee and reading books and magazines I'm not going to buy. I sometimes regret this (I'd love to own a copy of Sellevision -- very funny), sometimes not (liked Nineteen Minutes, don't need to read it again).
