About meEngineer, Reader, Gin-drinker, tv-watcher, blogger, traveler, joker, smoker, midnight toker. You know, more or less.

About my libraryI try to keep a mix of fiction and nonfiction in rotation. I'm particularly fond of biographies, amusing science and good history. My fiction skews toward the classics unless a really trusted scource recommends something newer.

I've made a big push lately to read more books by women authors. 2009 was an all-girl year and I work now to keep the ratio favoring women.
