About meI am an avid textile and fashion enthusiast; and I have the basement to prove it! I have been accused of hoarding but insist that its a collection of fabric, lace, linens, ribbon, vintage and antique handwork etc etc etc ....

My library is an offshoot of this interest and I am just that pleased to discover fellow enthusiasts.

I am married with 2 grown children.
My husband is kind.
I wish I could travel more; preferably in a horse drawn gypsy wagon thru Europe and Asia.

Yes I do read other books, in fact I am an avid reader but I mostly read fiction on my kindle fire, which I love! There I said it!

About my libraryI started collecting books related to textiles when I couldn't find any at the library. I had wanted to learn more about and date some of my fabric stash so I started hitting the book stores.
I am interested in connecting with other fiber arts enthusiasts. When I start to talk about my fiber arts projects or my library my families eyes glaze over.

August 3, 2012:
. I am happy to announce that I have started a fiber arts book swap group. Its called the "Fiber arts book swap group". [ Just keeping it simple!] Check it out if you have books on the subject you might want to swap for more books on the subject.

GroupsFiber Arts, fiber arts book swap
