About meOnce upon a time, I was a librarian for others. Now I simply tend to my own collections.

About my libraryI bring home strays from the discard tables at libraries and from the misc. boxes at thrift stores. Rarely do I ever pay full price for a book. I have a eclectic collection and pride myself in it.

I do try to collect etiquette books and Tom T. fashion books. I married into a random menagerie of engineering books. I prefer old books to new mass markets. And lastly, the best book is one that keeps me up all night.

...More recently, I seem to have developed an addiction to ebooks. They are often free and take up much less space but I am still wary of reading them in the bathtub...
