I hope to have a library that touches on all cultures in a positive light. I strive to find books that any child could find something relatable within. I enjoy books that are unusual and creative, books that push the boundaries of what people expect. I believe different is the way to reach out to at-risk readers and I hope to build a library that interests these students.

Currently earning certification for mild to moderate special education. I am an avid reader mostly for adult literature but I am gaining ground in Children's and Young Adult literature. Growing up, books were the only things I wanted except a car so that I could drive myself to the bookstore. I hope to inspire the same in the children that I teach.
