I am a librarian in Southern California. I am a reference librarian who is also the local history librarian. I also teach a couple of very beginning computer classes (how to use a mouse and Introduction to the WWW). I got my MLIS in 1997.

I'm married to a wonderful man and have a daughter in graduate school studying archives and museum curatorship.

I love Jane Austen and what I like to call Jane Austen rip offs. I also love to read fantasy, especially Patricia Wrede and Terry Pratchett and Diana Wynne Jones. I read lots of cozy mysteries. MC beaton is probably my favorite author.

I read some manga. I like a series called Emma (no relation to the Jane Austen story). It's a Victorian Romance. I like the very mild, romance-y mangas.
