About meBiology Professor by training, Military Historian by persistant study. My favorite area of military history is the Second World War with an emphasis on the European Theatre of Operations and the Mediterranean/North African Theatre. In addition to writing scientific articles and serving as a reviewer for the Faculty of 1000, I contribute book (non-science) reviews to Amazon.com (am also a Vine Voice there), the Journal of Military History, and do some gratis reviewing for numerous publishers. I am currently researching my own book on the ETO and hope to someday add my authorship to the WWII genre.

About my libraryMy library is almost exclusively Second World War historiography. Everything I submit here will be. Some books are quite old first additions, some are new, Most I purchased myself after little to lots of searching, others were given to me by one or another author/publisher (to all of whom I am deeply indebted).
