About My Library
I am a volunteer for the Winchester Gardens (CCRC) Residents' Library which is a non-profit organization in Maplewood, NJ. The library has about 3,200 books scattered in the normal categories: Fiction, Mystery, Biography and Non-fiction. At this time, it is basically comprised of older books that have been received from Residents beginning in 1997 when the library was started. However, we are currently in the process of weeding out some of the older books to make room for newer donations. We are also currently scanning the books that we have into the Librarything data base in the hope of eventually setting up an online catalog.
About Me

I am an elderly woman (as are all of the volunteers for the Winchester library) living in Winchester Gardens, a CCRC located in Maplewood, NJ. I have never been a librarian but have been using libraries since I was 4 years old and am totally enjoying my current work in the Residents' library..
