- About My Library
- Wayne: Professionally the library contains many title relating to culinary arts. The rest of my collection reflects a diverse interest in specific 19th century British authors (e.g. John Ruskin, Anthony Trollope) and more contemporary authors. In recent years Meg and I have traveled on book related group tours in England, Scotland and Wales, which have broadened our book interests to include different types of book bindings and binders.
Meg: First edition illustrated children's books; many a mystery series, especially with historical fiction settings. - About Me
- This library is the combination of the book collections of both Meg and Wayne.
About Wayne: I am an author of books used to train professional chefs ("Professional Cooking" and "Professional Baking", Wiley). Before I began my writing career, I studied for a Ph. D in 19th century English literature.
About Meg: I am a pleasure reader. I like gentle, nonviolent murder mysteries, especially those with an historical context. I am also a collector of children's picture books and books by Minnesota authors. My goal is to collect the full set of Betsy-Tacy books autographed by the author. Holding an autographed book is like having a physical connection with the author, even tho Maud Hart Lovelace has long since passed. - Location
