- About Me
- I was trained as a military code breaker and a high school math teacher in the 1950s-60s, making more money in aerospace. My love for high school and elementary school math continues by personalizing the history of mathematics in the education of my children and grandchildren. George G. Joseph's Crest of the Peacock, 2nd edition, includes a couple of my paragraphs concerning the importance of studying Egyptian mathematics beyond dehumanized Eurocentric and modern pedagogies that minimize math history in state math frameworks and K-12 classrooms.
