About meI am the Children's Librarian at the WB Public Library. I have 1 son who is in college and I am an avid reader. I enjoy books, magazines, the news, reality shows, spending time with my friends and family and going to the beach. I enjoy being busy, like a challenge, love all animals,am concerned about the environment, worry about everyone else but myself and I laugh quite a bit (I also talk to myself often):) Enough said!

About my libraryThe West Bridgewater Public Library is nestled between the middle school (grades 4-6) and the middle senior high school (grades 7-12). There are approx. 7,588 residents in town and we also have a great playground (Friendship Park) located right next door to the library. We have a Children's Room, Young Adult area, Galleria space, 1 Meeting Room and a nice size area for Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction books. Every day after school approx. 35-60 boys and girls visit the library and wait for their parents to pick them up. We recently opened up the Meeting Room for the 'tweens and teens to play games in and we have been offering a variety of programs that the Teen Advisory Board either suggested or picked from the selection that I provided to them. Overall it is a great library! We have lots of interesting magazines, books and reference materials. One area that we would like to improve is our "technology" services. The computers are fairly old and because of this we do not have wireless capabilities. We have 3 volunteers and 7 staff (3 full-time and 4 part-time). We are a busy and welcoming place that patrons from surrounding towns visits often. I am trying to become more "tech" smart and resourceful. I enjoy the work that I do and I hope that I make a difference in the lives of people who frequent the library.
