About meMajoring in French literature and philosophy at Bard College in upstate New York. Aside from piling more and more books around my room, I'm interested in politics, cooking, old movies, new movies (sometimes), knitting, biking, and typewriters.

About my libraryThe mass of books I've acquired over the years is pretty clearly sedimented -- childhood (Shel Silverstein, Avi), young adult (Tamora Pierce, Sharon Creech, Roald Dahl), teenagerhood (Salinger, Chabon, Block), and college student (lots and lots of French theory). They'll all make it up here, hopefully, in waves, as I reorganize my bookshelves.

Summer 2009: After letting it lie dormant for a year, I'll begin to add more books again.

I like your tag 'semaphore' on Wuthering Heights!
Bridget. We share 14 books. They are all by Tamora Pierce.
Bridget! Do you have it set so I can't see what's in your library? I guess that's one way to make sure no one thinks you're an unusually pretentious 13-year-old.
