About meAs of this year, I am "officially" an old person, although I can't say I feel like one. I live with my daughter and family near Dallas TX - my husband passed away in 2001, and I was invited! I am a Minerals Geologist by vocation, an Archaeologist by avocation. All in my family play soccer, except me. I am their #1 fan. Eddie Macademia, a Golden Retriever, and Elliott Ness, a Basset Hound, are my furry children. I am their "Dogfud Giver Person." I'm a SCI FI buff, especially time travel, think horror films are great fun, and really dig history. I was an Egypt Freak long before it was popular. My favorite novel type is mystery/thriller. Genealogy is my passion and has been for over 20 years. I also do research for others because I believe "what goes around, comes around." If I had the time, I'd knit, needlepoint, sew, and craft - like I used to.

About my libraryMy library consists mainly of time-travel books, historical novels, some science fiction, and some non-fiction. I also have a shelf of fiction/non-fiction religious books - on the order of "Bloodline of the Holy Grail." Books like "The Da Vinci Code" and movies like "National Treasure" are my favorites, so my library reflects this genre. Stephen King, Clive Cussler, and Elizabeth Peters are 3 of my favorite authors, but I enjoy reading "unknown" authors also. I confess to collecting books - when I am old, maybe I'll have time to read them!
