Everyone should make their own "1001 Things" list. Be their 1001 things to do, or 1001 things that they love, or that make them happy... this is my attempt on doing that, but its still many items short ;D
I want to live my life in a way that, when i look back, i have no regrets at all. I can't say what tomorrow brings for me, but i'll surely be prepared to face it if yesterday was just as I wanted to live it. I can't afford to look back and wish that things were different, I don't think that's a healthy way to live. Will there be things that will hurt me? Sure, but I'll just have to grow trought it. I'm still entering my 20's, so I guess I still have loads to learn... But if I do so much as change someone's day the slightest for the better, I guess I won that day. I really like to make the people around me smile, specially the ones that I love.
Most of my goals are silly. Dreams of a girl (still a kid?), who more than anything wants to be happy and stay that way. I want to sleep cudling with my boyfriend, I want to have half an hour unplanned to meet a friend during the week and have coffee, I want to lay in bed in a rainy sunday with my cat and a good book...
Someday (when I grow up, maybe? I dont know if I already did, but guess not) my goals may change to more important things, some that could affect more people and change more lifes. I dream big, I want to make a difference... and I'll try my best to do so. But for today I'll concentrate in taking charge of my own life. Try to be happier, kinder, sweeter, more helpfull, more open-minded and specially, not only be there but be here now and enjoy every moment.
Take risks. Dream large, and small. Live well, but right. Make a list, and start checking it off.
