About My Library
Our collection is the product of four trips to Russia, trips to Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo and Turkey, a professor's retirement, another professor's periodic house-cleaning, and two people's general lifelong habit of acquiring books.

In 2006, we won the Brooker book-collecting prize for our books on the languages of the former USSR; the resulting prize money went to more books.

We had a bit over 3,000 books when we started a massive cull in the fall of 2010.
About Me
We're both 2006 University of Chicago alums with the first joint BA/MA degrees in Slavic Linguistics.

Andy is continuing in the program to get a joint PhD in Slavic and linguistics.

Quinn has an MS in Library and Information Science. She manages the Scholarly Technology group in IT Services at the University of Chicago by day, and dabbles in Slavic linguistics by night. Quinn has upwards of 50,000 photos on Flickr.
