About meMy home is in Northeast New Jersey. I have become an avid birder - especially when it involves hawkwatching.
I'm a former bookstore owner, so I got used to having my own 'personal' library.
I'm not happy unless there is a stack of unread books waiting in the wings.
They are one of my greatest pleasures in life, and I owe a debt of gratitude to my mother for starting me on that path (a box of books was always my favorite present).
I'm not a book snob- I will read all sorts, but my main motto is " Life is too short to waste on a book you are not enjoying".
Hope to meet some fellow bookworms on this site!

About my libraryHeavily weighted towards crime and mysteries.
I have several favorite fiction and non-fiction authors. The non-fiction tends to be about science topics.
I enjoy exploring foreign authors- especially British, Australian, Indian and Scandanavian.
