About meHowdy Folks! I'm a texan college student with plenty of dreams. At the moment I'm living day by day and I'm trying to slow things down just a little for my own sake.

I have plenty of interests that keep me occupied such as reading, painting, baking sweets, films, van gogh art, cartoons and almost all sorts of music depending on my mood (again, no estoy mintiendo/not lying). Check out my youtube playlists. http://www.youtube.com/user/mjsmell

For those with kind hearts who took the time to read this. Thank you =]

About my libraryI started this collection during the summer of 09 because I wanted to keep track of what I read. Bottom line I want to be organized.
You will notice that I read children's literature (for fun and required for my major). If anyone needs advice in children's literature I am willing to help. I have also just finished taking an American literature class that covered authors, short stories, poems, and novels from the 17th century up to the 20th century. By the way professor Dr. Betsy Berry gave the class more meaning with her personal life stories, films, and funny remarks. Thanks to her I understand Stephen Crane and other things have been put to perspective.

I love romance novels and horror fiction but I'm open to reading historical books, nonfiction, journals, poetry,entertainment,etc... I'm also into reading scholarly research reports that deal in the field of psychology, family studies, biology, and children's health.

Ps. There is no easy way in saying this, but I don't want to read the Twilight series for particular reasons. If you love Twilight, I'll still be your friend. I don't criticize what anyone reads so don't judge me.

My goal is to continue adding books to this list whenever it is possible.
It would be nice to influence someone in reading a novel based on my reviews or even to discuss a book.
If anyone has any suggestions on what I should read next, I'd like to hear them.
