About meI'm a retired investigator from a suburban agency in the DFW area. I've always been an avid reader. I was reading Lawrence Sanders, Sidney Sheldon, and Harold Robbins when I was twelve years old. Whatever book a family member finished I was right on top of it. I had no real concept of what I was reading but I knew that it was better than what I was supposed to be reading. I'm also a Master Gardner so I'm busy with my gardens outside and my jungle inside between books. Plus I have my faithful companions to keep me company while I'm reading. I call them my "Ladies" but I use that term loosely. They are my fur people, whom I love dearly.

About my libraryMy favorite genre has to be mysteries. I love cozies to hardcore thrillers. I have many authors who I follow. I do love non-fiction especially true crime and books regarding social issues. I've been super busy reading NetGalleys and I've been blessed with getting most of them I request. I think I've bit off more than I can chew wth them. I went a bit crazy you might say. I've just started really writing reviews and when it comes time to writing one, I break out into a cold sweat. I'm working on them, so hopefully I'll feel more comfortable writing them.
