About meA guy working in the IT Industry in South Africa. Various interests outside of technological trends (my mainstream interest and focus); I'm a Microlight Pilot (MPL) and qualified Private Pilot (PPL) - I prefer microlights to flying anything else ;) I'm also a scuba diver (PADI - Advanced).

About my libraryWork in progress right now - I need to enter all the books read and books being read (I tend to be working on at least 3 books at any one time). Here's an overview right now; My literary interests are largely factual works versus fictional - although I enjoy a mixture of the two at times (i.e. Da Vinci Code). Though, I do find the Older flagship fiction enjoyable; Moby Dick, The Old Man and the Sea, The Hobbitt, etc. There are three "areas" that I find irresistable; I love to expose myself to technological visionaries such as Ray Kurzweil and George Gilder. I equally enjoy opinions regarding historical, current and predicted socio economic and cultural trends - such as outlined in the book "The Clash of Civilizations". And lastly, I love few things more than to be absorbed in a biography of an individual or recent brand/company success - i.e. "Google". The far out "stuff" I'll read at times are on the business psychi areas - i.e. "Emotional Intelligence". Enough about me from me and let my library rather truly infer who I may be...
