I have a very varied library and cannot resist odd little numbers (like my Four Stories by Somerset maugham illustrated by henri Matisse). My library is my shell. Without it I am soft and easily pecked.

Books comfort me. I carry small piles of them around the house like a squirrell fidgets with its nuts. If only the world could be as black and white and smell as good as the pages of a book.
