About meThere's something so patently ridiculous about trying to describe yourself in a few lines. It's taken me twenty years to understand what of myself I know, and somedays I feel like that's not much at all. You expect me to summarize what I have found here?

But as an exercise in presentation, here I am. I'm a twenty year old student at a local university, taking art classes that won't get me much of anywhere that most people consider "getting somewhere" and figuring out what kind of life I want to have. So far, lottery winning millionaire is my favorite option, but it's not really panning out yet. It might help if I played the lottery, but then again it probably won't.

About my libraryMost of my books were paperbacks shed by siblings who no longer needed them for assignments, so I collected them to read and keep. I'm a little bit in love with literature, and if there was a profession that required nothing more than curling up in comfortable chairs and poring over books I'd become the best in the industry. Unfortunately, I don't think such an occupation exists, and if it does, I can't see it being very lucrative. It's not that being poor is such an issue, it's just I've gone through three years of art classes, and I've become so used to the idea of being a starving artist becoming poor any other way would be a bit of a disappointment.

The books that aren't hand me downs are mostly fantasy novels collected through my teens and childrens books collected even before that. I still adore childrens books, because a good story is a good story, no matter how big the words are or what age it's written for.
