About My Library

When I was a kid I was an avid reader. I would read a book a day, regularly getting about eight from the library at one time. Since I hit high school, though, my love of reading has diminished somewhat. I think I simply get burned out because of how much I have to read for school. That explains how there are way more children's books than anything else. I also used to work in the children's department at Barnes & Noble, where I sold more children's books than probably any other bookseller they've seen in a long time. They should have paid me more.

I also have a huge interest in the Holocaust and have extensively studied the topic, so the list will also be Holocaust heavy.

Otherwise, there is probably a good amount of historical fiction, which I simply find fun.

About Me

I am a "rising senior" at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. It wasn't my first choice but after three years, I have really learned to love it.

I want to become an archivist and am spending the summer working an internship at the Smithsonian. It doesn't pay, of course, but it's a great CV builder.
If the archives thing doesn't work out, I want to do something with children's literature, which I absolutely love.

After living and traveling all over the world, I can safely assure you that Buffalo is my favorite place in the world. Born and bred and never want to leave again. Too bad that will never be possible.
