- Has been reconstructed using such sources as the Harry Ransom Center special collections at the University of Texas at Austin. In 1972, one year before I passed into thoughtless heaven, I sold most of my books in preparation for my removal to Oxford, where I had been offered a place to live by unanimous vote of the Governing Body at Christ Church. What remained of my library were those books that I couldn't bring myself to turn over to the bookseller. That is the collection that you will find cataloged here.
