Archaeology of Eastern North American (abbreviated AENA) annually publishes articles describing archaeological artifacts and excavation results (site reports), as well as summary and methodological articles focusing on the states east of the Mississippi River and the eastern Canadian provinces. Most of the publication concerns pre-Columbian Native American and Paleo-American archaeology, with some Contact period and Euro-American archaeology. Articles are well illustrated in black and white with some color, in 8 2 x 11 inch format. Extensive articles can be 50 pages in length. Issues average about 170 pages in length. Most articles are peer reviewed, and identified as such. (English, Publisher)
