- The Carry On ... movies had a very successful run from 1958 with Carry On Sergeant to 1992 when the 31st film, Carry on Columbus, ended the series. The style was reliant on bawdy humour and double entendre from a relatively small group of British comedians, male and female, with a collection of pretty, and usually busty, girls. My favourite line was from Carry on Cleo when Kenneth Williams as Julius Caesar facing assassination cried out "Infamy! Infamy! They've got it in for me!" Formulaic and, eventually, predictable, it was nevertheless hard not to laugh. (English, Unclassified)
