Hi all! I'm thinking about buying Sir Francis Drake. The Queen's Pirate by
Harry Kelsey ...anybody read it yet?

Amazon has a rather scathing review on it: http://www.amazon.com/Sir-Francis-Drake-Queen%60s-Pirate/dp/0300084633/ref=sr_1_.... I have The Secret Voyage of Sir Francis Drake, which the reviewer liked better.

I haven't had time to read it yet, but by the cover material, it has some fairly radical ideas about where Drake actually landed on the West Coast. As a San Franciscan, and frequent visitor to Drake's Bay, I was intrigued.
