Just wondering, what are some of the new retellings of folk- and fairytales that are coming out soon?

Do you follow the SurLaLune Fairy Tales site at all? The proprietor usually keeps a list of upcoming fairy-tale related releases.

Or you can check out her Amazon lists:

The Wilful Eye, edited by Isobelle Carmody, was released in Australia last month. I don't know when the US release date is, though.

Edited to try to fix Touchstones. Not working for some reason. Sorry.

My poetry collection, Wedding Underwear for Mermaids, was published in March 2011. Many of the poems are based on fairy tales. It's available on Amazon.

Hi Linda. Welcome to LT. I'm going to touchstone your book here for easier reference.

Wedding Underwear for Mermaids

Just as a friendly aside, it's considered a violation of tOS to plug your book except in the Hobnob with Authors group. HOWEVER, I think your note is very welcome here, as we are all hardcore lovers of the retale, and are always glad to hear of another work.

I hope you stay and chat.
and please do put some biographical info and a photo on your author page.

Sorry, 2wonderwhy and everyone else, I just kind of dived in, registered and commented - then read the rules later. I was quite embarrassed when I finally read them properly. So thanks for responding kindly. I will take your advice and put my info on the author page. If I hear of any other new fairy tale retellings I'll keep you posted. Best wishes from me.
