Zombie Research Society site. Interesting site that is a network dedicated to raising the level of zombie scholarship in the Arts and Sciences. I found their site interesting to read.

In order to try to educate the masses on being prepared for a natural disaster. The Center for Disease Control put out a Zombie Apocalypse preparedness page in order to help people survive a disaster.

This is not a spoof, this is actually done by them. The site got so many hits it crashed their servers!

So is this a sign of the end of the world? Is this how they will make us all prepared with out causing mass panic?

What do you think?

I think it is a brilliant way to get the masses to actually prepare for an emergency.

Zombies are popular and this drives web hits. Think of all the people who will be "hip" and actually have a Zombie Emergency Kit. The same people who would never otherwise visit the CDC site. And have prepared the same materials and plans that will service any emergency.

They should actually sale the kit as branded for the zombie pandemic.

lol the cdc is kind of right, if you are prepared for a zombie apocalypse than you are prepared for just about any natural disaster.

I found this Really amazing zombie proof house during a wandering on the web. It's located in Poland. It probably was built in case of a war, but its pretty darn Zombie Proof too! The paranoid freak in me would love it! See more images and info here.

Has anyone read Pride, Prejudice and Zombies? Does that even classify as a zombie book? I was going to read it but I haven't heard much about the book. Any insight here?

I have not read it but a friend of mine says its an excellent zombie novel. She was very surprised with how it was written. I asked her to bring it to me so I could read it. I think if it actually revolves around zombies somehow then it falls into the zombie category.
