So, did Tim decide that he doesn't care about the rule against under-13-year-old LTers, or does "McDonald's 6th Grade" refer to the Chicken McNuggets you really don't want to eat?
One or two of Ms. McDonald's young charges have already had their accounts suspended after expressing indignation that non-class members would dare comment on posts mistakenly posted to Book Talk. I once tried a kind PM to Ms. McDonald, but never received a reply.
We can either enjoy Robert and Mr. Andrew's responses or send a note to LT staff - which will result in the suspending of underage accounts. Which is a roundabout way of saying that Tim and LT staff care, but seem to wait for a "heads up" from other members.
# 6 - What's your cutoff on McNuggets? I'm OK down to the third grade; beyond that and I go to Wendys.
If I have solid evidence, like an admission, that a user is under 13 I e-mail Jeremy about it. Meanwhile I responded to Austin thinking him or her to be young but not knowing about the 6th grade group.
And I saw Casablanca for my first time in a special showing in a theater just last night.
We care, but because we don't have the eyes of Argus, we rely on members to report such things.
It's been over a week now, and nothing seems to have happened to the OP, the 6th grade group he belongs to, or the creator of that group.
Except that they all grew one week older... a stark and terrible punishment, and one that i hadn't realised was within the power of a Librarything admin. Beware!
Whilst Tim doesn't have the eyes of Argus, Lethe does sit on his shoulder whispering into his ear.
