Has anyone read this book and what did you think about it?

I read it and kept wondering how such a badly written text could make it past an editor. Which is a pity, as the plot sounded promising.

I liked this book. You can't take it seriously. In fact, I am sure the author doesn't mean for you to. It reminds me of Portugese Irregular Verbs by Alexander McCall Smith, which is a spoof of the academic world.

I'm a little late stepping in here, but I agree with Sunny. I liked the plot, but the writing is just terrible. I had a hard time finishing it, but kept hoping it would get better. Which it didn't.
