I'm thinking of a word that rhymes with 'closer.'

I am using the definition that means someone is getting nearer, not the one that means someone has finished a deal. I don't think they sound the same.

I'm thinking of a a fried or baked pastry with a savory curried filling.

I meant "buy," but that was my word. I've thought of several new words but I can't think of any words that rhyme with them. Back soon with a new one.
