Just seen this message - have you enjoyed The Good Soldier Schewik? I need another Czech book. Can we count older books as either Czech Republic or Slovakia, or do I need to get out an atlas.....

Hi, Havent got that far with it yet as just finishing the (not recommended) The Dancer from Khiva (Uzbekistan). Doing this challenge, I've encountered some great foreign literature I would never have otherwise attempted, but have read some utter turkeys, when trying to get something from an obscure country!

You raise an interesting point: as Schweik is set in Prague, and as the author hails from there and wrote in Czech, I think it can be safely counted as Czech Republic.
