Suggestions for titles you think would or might sell (out!) as well as Mort did?

I've only read a few, so no idea, really... I can say that Good omens is the book I heard most often recommended (and had recommended to me) as introduction to Pratchett if not, specifically, to Discworld... (and yes I know, it's only co-authorship, with Neil Gaiman). So, side question, how do you think that one would fare?

Guards! Guards! will probably do equally well. I suspect that Small Gods will as well (or Pyramids) :)

Good Omens will probably do well - it is popular, it has two big names as authors and it is a good book overall :)

Let's see what sort of order emerges? Small gods is one of the few I've read, and my favourite, so...

1. Small gods--2

2. Guards! Guards!--1

3. Pyramids--1

(4. Good Omens OUT OF SERIES --1)

Reaper Man seems logical - isn't it next in the series that started with Mort?

I want Wyrd Sisters!

I think they'd probably all sell well enough but it's interesting to speculate which, if any, could spark such a frenzy as Mort.

1. Small gods--2

2. Guards! Guards!--1

3. Pyramids--1

4. Reaper Man--1

5. Wyrd Sisters--1

(Good Omens OUT OF SERIES --1)

I don't know about the ROW but in the UK books 1 through 21 are published by Victor Gollancz and the remainder by Doubleday. So would the fact that there are 2 publishing houses involved in pterry's books make a difference?

Not sure how committed Folio is to do the complete run, The Unseen University edition and Collectors Discworld only did the Gollancz books so it'd be nice to get a complete edition.

ETA: I personally want the witches novels, but Hogfather would be a great holiday standalone title.

I like the City Watch series most, so I would like:
Guards! Guards!
Night Watch
Small Gods (I know, not City Watch)

I started reading these over 20 years ago and of course, I like (and would probably buy) many others in the series, but these would be my favourites.

Well, in terms of favourites, the information on LT shows pretty much the entire series is highly rated (I wonder if it might not be, for its length, THE highest-rated series?), with (currently) ... Night Watch on top (4.39). Followed by... Going Postal (4.25) and Men at arms (4.22).

Order by LT rating of the titles mentioned in the thread so far:

1. Night Watch (4.39)
2. Guards! Guards! (4.18)
3. Small Gods (4.17)
4. Reaper Man (4.12)
5. Hogfather (4.08)
6. Wyrd Sisters (3.99)
7. Pyramids (3.8)

Mort is rated 4.04. Oh, and Good Omens... 4.28.

I think Pratchett would have liked a Folio edition of Nation, it was one he particularly was proud of. As for Discworld I keep thinking on which books would take well to illustrating. Keep thinking of Jingo and Witches Abroad, neither of which would be coming any time soon.

Night Watch is my favourite of all the Pratchett books, but as it comes quite late in the Watch series and works better in series than standalone, I don't expect they'll do it next. So either Guards! Guards! or Witches Abroad.

The Death Trilogy consists of Mort;Reaper Man & Soul Music. So perhaps Reaper Man.

Unlikely they will publish the whole of the Discworld series, methinks, but then one never does know.

Small Gods was my first Pratchett, and so far still my favourite, so I'd be very happy if Folio published it. Guards! Guards! comes in at a close second.
