1. Two Mules for Sister Sarah (before Shirley MacLaine went weird on us)
2. The English Patient
3. Dr No (I think)

cris does it have to do with the movies or the actors? I can't see a connection. Maybe having take place in a desert?

No, it's all Foggie's... I only recognized the 'Dr. No' image. Haven't seen the other two films, although I recognized the actors...

I only got the connection after the rooster provided the titles.

12Foghorn-Leghorn
Oct 17, 2016, 1:29 pm

I don't remember the hospitals, except for the obvious one.

13.cris
Oct 17, 2016, 2:06 pm

>12 Foghorn-Leghorn: Fog, mate! Words in the title. A doctor, a (nursing) sister and a patient could all be found in a hospital. Don't go looking for something deep and meaningful, 'cos this quiz ain't it

14Foghorn-Leghorn
Oct 17, 2016, 4:07 pm

Well, I guess I need to turn off the 10% of the brain that I do use. That sister threw me off. I remember that you call nurses sister don't you. You British have weird words for things.

15.cris
Oct 17, 2016, 4:18 pm

>14 Foghorn-Leghorn: Oh bugger! it was my mistake then. I didn't think about you not having sisters. Staff nurses? Could have been worse, I could have gone for Any Brit over 60 would immediately know what it is (plus Julie probably)

>149 C2.: I'm sure you know I Saw the Devil is my second favourite K-film (tying with The Chaser) and I'm impatiently waiting for Age of Shadows. Even The Last Stand wasn't bad (for an Arnie film!)

1) The Green Mile
2) Tree Lounges
3) Rope

If these are correct, the brains are "thick" today...need help...all I can think of is an evergreen tree--Christmas tree--bundled with rope to transport in auto. Sorry! :(

>158 Carol420: He certainly did Carol! We call the game Cluedo here, so didn't realise using the word "clue" was a giveaway. I was worried that the US version might be different and the connection wouldn't make any sense. Joint winners today C2 and Carol. Hoorah!
