I finally imported my list in a .csv format. While I received a notification that the import was complete, there are no books in my catalog. Does it just take quite a while to populate (1600+ books) or have I done something wrong? I checked the help topics, but didn't see that this has been addressed.

They have just been dealing with an import bug. http://www.librarything.com/topic/245562. You should probably report the problem there.

There was a bug for a while where the notification email was sent before the actual import was complete. I see 123 books in your catalog now; it looks like the import is currently ongoing. Give it a day at least, since there were server problems earlier today that will slow things down, before attempting to re-upload, since duplicates are a pain to get rid of.

The books finally showed up, but rather than letting me see them all at once they are multiple categories (most of them named Read). Can you advise how to consolidate them into a single list?

Well that's a new one. I would suggest creating a bug over on the Bug Collectors group (https://www.librarything.com/groups/bugcollectors ).
LT terminology is that what you're calling "categories" are called Collections, and what you're seeing is that multiple Collections with what appear to be the same name are being created.
Please do not delete and re-add. Give the developers a chance to see what's going on.

Thank you. I'll contact them. I've realized that about 100 of my books didn't come over, so my next task is to find out what's missing and get those books added.
