I'm hoping Sam might have a word with Willa before the end and tell her that an intelligent, articulate, young woman does herself no favour by saying 'like' in every darned sentence that comes out of her mouth...!

>LOL! That's odd, Sergei, that you should say that. That is my mother's pet peeve...people that say "like" with every sentence they utter. She was commenting on that just today. Mine is people that end a sentence with "at". "Where is it "at"? NO...just say "Where is it?". Don't end your sentence with a preposition.

I've gotten used to "like" and can pretty much ignore it, but the one that REALLY GRATES is "you know"

I was listening to an interview and there was a "you know" in almost every sentence and all at inappropriate spots. I find myself counting the occurrences.
