Should we suspect John Sanders who discovered the body? Why?

I would say right now everyone is suspect.

Everyone should be a suspect at this point.

Indeed - nobody sticks out yet.

1 He was drinking heavily - guilty conscience?
2 He went straight to the corner of the courtyard where the body lay - did he go there to be sick, and discovered the body by accident? Or did he go there to see what he'd done to the girl, and then thrown up because he realised she was in deed dead?
3 He not only Knew the girl, he had been seen with her, in that same pub, the previous week.

So yes, I think he should at least be on the suspect list.

Good reasoning, Sergei, but I think it's way too early for anyone to be a major suspect and John just seems too easy right now. We have to admit the list isn't very long yet:)

He, along with many others, is on my suspect list.
However, I don't think he'll stay on it for long.

I don't have any suspect in mind but I'm also not ruling anyone out at this point - it's too early

I don't think he makes my suspect list yet but very strange and suspicious that he found the body and had been out with her in the pub previously.
