Given she died of Black Death should they disturb Yangchen's grave? Do you think Yangchen was the treasure or was she hiding the treasure?

I would say to leave Yangchen's grave alone as not to let the disease escape again.

I think modern antibiotics could handle any plague germs remaining hundreds of years later. I don't imagine her body would be a problem if they wanted to remove it to find treasure.

There is clear evidence of The Black Death still being active in bodies even after all this time, so I say leave it alone! You don't want to test those antibiotics and who's to say it won't mutate into an antibiotic resistant version. Just don't take the risk!

I did wonder if Yancheng would turn out to be Polo's treasure - she was the love of his life.
Threat of plague (or anything else) was never going to stop a treasure hunter
