Why do you think Tony was told he accused MacDougal of the murder? Do you think MacDougal did it?

No, I don't think MacDougal is the killer. I think MacDougal may have inferred from a couple of things Tony said that he thought MacDougal was responsible. Tony wasn't exactly shy in accusing the guy of molestation...

Not Tony's finest hour

I don't see that he did anything too awful. He may have tried to shock McDougal but I don't think he ever suspected McDougal would rape and murder his own daughter.

Tony knew that MacDougal abused his daughter and since his daughter was meeting with the news reporter, Tony surmised that MacDougal may have murdered his daughter in order to keep her quiet. I don't think MacDougal killed his daughter and Tony should not have said anything about that to MacDougal without any evidence.

Razors did not kill his own daughter.
Does McLean have a death wish even hinting at such a thing? With no local backup, he and the constable were lucky to walk out of there with their legs intact!

Yes no the wisest move but blown out of all proportion!

I agree >7 Andrew-theQM:. Blow entirely out of proportion. He never actually accused him of killing her so how did this get back to Dagwood?
