The Secret Life of Saeed....

That's kinda random, don't you think? I know I'm one owner of this book. Who else has it?

I've never heard of this book. It is definitely interesting considering only 31 members have it on LT. I wonder what that says?

That's what I found interesting too - basically 10% of the people who own this book on LT are in this group. Are 30-somethings more likely than the average reader to want to read surreal literature by Israeli Arab communists?

I guess I'm also intrigued because this was the book that I discovered through grad school lit classes on Palestinian literature and probably would never have discovered on my own, despite my interest in Middle Eastern lit.

1984 by George Orwell from the unweighed list.

1001 Books before you die by Peter Boxall from the weighed list.

Interesting change, considering Harry Potter takes spots on the unweighed, but not the weighed.
