I started a book and put in down to go to the bathroom. When I came back it was gone the librarian had probably it back. And I couldn’t remember the title. I have been searching for this book for ten years. It’s probably young adult or teen as I was in freshman year of high school.

All I remember was that this girl was watching her older sister being buried alive in quick sand for a crime she had committed I believe. I can’t remember what she had done. Her family was playing music and giving her water until the last moment. I think I was in tribe in the desert sort of setting. She was suppose to go somewhere I think. Maybe to a big city with a king. I think they was her sister best friend who use to carry her on his shoulder when she was young.

Sorry this is so vag I didn’t even finish the first chapter but this book has been hunting me.

Hope it’s speak to someone.
