he could have let Donna live and have a life with Cal.

I agree with Carol. I can't see the purpose of taking Donna's life.

I felt like the twist at the end with the Mayor made no sense at all. The whole idea of him being up on the roof was too unbelievable for me to buy.

I didn't like the characters much, including Cal. Cal made a lot of stupid and risky decisions. I also thought Phyllis becoming a killer so quickly was silly. She stabbed her husband to death, then went on to try and kill Cal and Donna. That was too over the top of credibility so it was a disappointing ending for me.

None of the characters were very likable and most I couldn't even feel sorry for - except maybe Harry.

As >5 Olivermagnus: and >6 gaylebutz: said, there were some parts that were just too much and didn't seem to fit with the rest
