Christian Historical Romance Fiction

Father loses daughter in a bet while gambling. Daughter runs away to escape marriage to the guy who won her. She meets a family - a widower with 3-4 children, I think - at a camp meeting. The children hide her in their wagon as the family heads home (father doesn't find out right away). She ends up marrying the widower, I think. I can't remember the exact time period - only that it was the time of wagons as primary transportation and the setting was the United States, but I can't remember state or territory.

I read it more 10 years ago; so published before 2008, I think

I'm pretty sure the author's last name starts with a C, but it might be B or D (I can picture this book's exact location on the shelf in the library I always went to as a teenager, but can't remember the title or author - go figure!)

Day 3 of spending way too much time searching for this book...additional detail, I think it was set in the west/frontier.
