What were your initial thoughts as to why Karen kept changing employers and moving?

At first I thought she was being fired but then it sounded to me like she was trying to get away from someone.

She was trying to get away from her stalker. It seems like it would have been better to leave the state.

It seemed like she was trying to get away from someone but she should have moved farther away and perhaps changed professions

She was definitely trying to run away from something.

I also think she's running away. I think it has to do with the notes that she was receiving.
