What did you make of the police’s initial reaction to the note Dr Barnes took to the police station?

Just about what I'd expect, trying to appear as though someone would take action, but not exactly giving it top priority. Which I suppose is fair enough, until it becomes widely known between all police precincts that this is part of the MO of a serial killer and should be looked at seriously.

I didn't expect them to make it a priority case but I thought they might have at least given her a bit more attention than they did.

They should have taken it a bit more seriously. To their credit...someone did take the time to at least listen to her.
