For some reason I haven't been able to add this ebook to my collection:

https://www.librarything.com/work/20639642/details/148500780

I've tried adding it through a whole bunch of sources, including Overcat, numerous Amazons, university libraries, to no avail. According to their databases, it doesn't exist.

I realize that I can add it manually, but I'm curious about why all these sources don't recognize its isbn. Seven LTers have previously added the book. Why can't I ?

All members for whom information is available added it through Amazon.

Ebooks are harder to find in library sources. A library that doesn't own the ebook won't have that ISBN.

The omnibus edition may not be available anymore, which would explain Amazon not having it now. Or others may have changed the entry.

If you're really determined, you can check worldcat listing to see what if any libraries hold it and then add it to your sources and import from there

For the ISBN in the link above, take a look here under 'find a copy in the library'. There's around a dozen libraries that have it

For what it's worth. I bought a set of http://www.librarything.com/series/The+Warlord+Chronicles this morning at a remainders stand. The 2016 Penguin reissue. Couldn't find a source (including Amazon). Amazon did have covers that matched.

I entered manually and used my default cover.

I've had similar problems with a German publisher that assigns different ISBNs to epub format ebooks and Amazon format ebooks. Thus, the ISBN couldn't be found at Amazon, and as nobody had entered it before, it couldn't be found at Overcat, either. I'm not sure if your case is similar, but it might be.
