Any thoughts who shot at Sebastian, and why?

Dec 2, 8:20pm Top

My first thought was Obidiah. But Sebastian found the rifle that was used and it was something rare, maybe expensive. That makes me think it's somebody connected to the Hellfire Club. Of course, they think Sebastian will figure out who's behind the murders and they want to stop him.

I assumed it was Obadiah. But as >2 gaylebutz: says, the rifle was too expensive for someone like him to have - so back to a nobleman and then to the Hellfire Club

I assumed it was Obadiah but he could have been helped by someone who gave him that rifle. I still don't think the Hellfire Club is involved but I've been wrong many times in these discussions.

I think it was probably Obadiah.

I also thought it was either Obadiah or Jack Slade. I don't believe the Hellfire Club is directly responsible but someone could have hired the shooter and furnished the gun. >4 Olivermagnus: We'll be wrong together but that's okay. We haven't visited the boat in quiet some time now. Hope it's well stocked.

I was just out there putting up the Christmas decorations!

>7 Olivermagnus:
You did a beautiful job. Did you buy egg nog?

>7 Olivermagnus: Nice and understated, 😉.

>1 Andrew-theQM: I knew it couldn't be Slade, the gunman was wearing a cloak and got away on horseback: I don't think Slade would run to either. These are the affectations of a 'gentleman', which Slade obviously is not.
Quillian's name keeps popping up, which makes me suspicious, even if he is outwardly a fop.
